Goals
- Replace paper menus, phone orders and walk-in booking notebooks with one live system.
- Keep menu and order state in sync across staff and customer devices instantly.
- Ship something a single small restaurant can actually run without IT support.

Live data model
Firestore collections for menu items, tables, reservations and orders, with realtime listeners so every device sees the same state.

Table availability is checked against booked time windows before a reservation is confirmed.

Orders move through placed, preparing and served states that update on the customer view as staff advance them.
